Two poetic worlds unfolding with emotion and sincerity. The programme is made up of She who lived in the house before me by Rasha Omran, with Isabelle Duthoit (singing), Nanda Mohammad (text in French) and Rasha Omran (text in Arabic), where the presence of a female ghost in a house shows the new tenant the meaning of old age and solitude and Dodo ya Momo do by Soukaina Habiballah, in which images from the French colonisation of Morocco haunt a poetry placed under the sign of generations of women.

The Shaeirat (poetesses) project invites us to discover female voices from contemporary Arab poetry through four performances by the writers themselves. Organised with the complicity of Henri jules Julien, Shaeirat gives centre stage to a poetry removed from Western representations, with roots as much in political and social struggle as in the demands for recognition of unique identities.
