Presentation

This is the glorious and heartbreaking story of Julian Assange and his US-led hunt. He has been incarcerated since 2019 in the UK awaiting extradition proceedings requested by the US after being charged with "espionage".

The documentary follows the step-by-step defence of the WikiLeaks founder, coordinated by Spanish lawyer Baltasar Garzón, who is internationally renowned for having brought former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet to justice. The filmmakers travelled the world for nine years to piece together this story with profound political implications.
