Limit: a tendency to transform the space in which life develops into zones of separation. Sujet à vif: person likely to experience separation. Sujet à vif: person inclined to separating from the living. Bastard: human subject who seems to be alright with having uncertain and confused origins, who has been advised not to pay too much attention to his or her own state of mind.
Mathieu Desseigne-Ravel
It is in a community youth club in Avignon that Mathieu Desseigne became an acrobat, halfway between the circus and hip-hop. A graduate of the Centre national des arts du cirque, he has worked with Alain Platel and the Ballets C de la B, without losing contact with his first companions, with whom he works within the 2 temps 3 mouvements collective, co-signing their creations. Renamed Naïf Production, they recently created La Mécanique des ombres (The Mechanics of Shadows).
Michel Schweizer
Over the past eighteen years, the scenographer and choreographer Michel Schweizer has brought together and organised temporary communities in order to measure their degree of exhaustion. Creating artistic scores that stick as close as possible to the real, he defies limits and the relationships between art, politics, and economics, with his caustic look at the commodification of the individual and of language.
