Presentation

Uncovering the buried history of those who have been deprived of rights, to approach their conditions of existence in order to understand the regimes of domination in the slave societies of the 18th century, to grasp the contemporary forms of trafficking in human beings in order to understand the weight of social norms in the exercise of justice, to explore the ideal of liberty in order to nourish new emancipations, or to trace the paths of a politics of humanity.
