Clémentine Aubry, new managing director of the Festival d'Avignon

The direction and the board of the Festival d'Avignon announce the appointment of Clémentine Aubry as managing director to Tiago Rodrigues. She will take up her post in spring 2026.

With over twenty years of experience in the management and administration of cultural organisations, Clémentine Aubry has supported and developed projects for leading multidisciplinary institutions, driven by the same idea of public service in culture, with a shared focus on supporting artists and building relationships with audiences and the local community.

Deputy Director and Secretary General of CENTQUATRE-PARIS since 2021, she previously held management positions at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord (administrator), the Louvre Museum (deputy director of the auditorium and performing arts) and the Rencontres d'Arles (production and partnerships director).

With a master's degree in art history and a diploma from HEC, she is also involved in the governance of artistic institutions (Ecole supérieure d'art et de design – Le Havre-Rouen, Théâtre de la Cité Internationale).
