An immersive journey to relive the great adventure of the Festival d’Avignon from its origins to the present day, through images, archives and personal accounts. Through an alternative itinerary, Julien Gosselin offers a behind-the-scenes look at his creation for the Cour d’honneur and shares his perspective as both an artist and a spectator at the Festival.

Through an immersive scenography, Les Clés du Festival invites the audience to (re)experience the journey of the Festival d'Avignon, from its origins to the present day, bringing together nearly a thousand documents and archives from the Maison Jean Vilar and the collections of the Bibliothèque nationale de France. An opportunity to explore the history of the Festival d'Avignon, understand its challenges and major moments, and discover the works and artists that have left their mark on its history. Through an alternative itinerary, Julien Gosselin offers a behind-the-scenes look at his creation for the Cour d’honneur and shares his perspective as both an artist and a spectator at the Festival.
