Presentation

Continuing the reflection initiated on international cultural cooperation, this gathering proposed by Relais Culture Europe invites an exchange between artists and cultural venues engaged in creative processes shaped by the diverse realities of the Mediterranean.

The aim is not to fix positions or draw boundaries, but to share practices, journeys, and concrete experiences: How can we work despite obstacles to mobility? How can unique stories rooted in multiple contexts be heard? How can we imagine more sensitive, fair, and relevant forms of cooperation and hospitality that respond to today’s challenges?

This moment of dialogue seeks to bring out resonances, convergences, and perhaps new ways of creating, storytelling, and taking action in a world marked by tension, but also by a deep desire for connection.
In the face of withdrawal, intimidation, and exclusionary discourse, artistic cooperation opens up pathways to hospitality, recognition, reciprocity, and commitment—capable of restoring meaning to what we hold in common.
