Right up against the Cour d'honneur du Palais des, just before the trumpets sound, the "Souffle d'Avignon" takes over the Benoît XII cloister, where living authors will perform their texts, many of them previously unpublished. In this historic and symbolic setting, the cradle of the Festival, this 4th edition of the Souffle affirms the unifying character of this event initiated by Les Scènes d'Avignon.
La foufoune not so in love ces jours-ci
Léonora Miano writes about a woman who is determined not to make any more of the efforts imposed on women of her sex to seduce, reassure and keep men who often don't deserve them. Addressed to a man who represents them all, the text questions the possibility of true love in an unequal society and also points up the complicity of many women with oppressive structures.
