Ladilom is a Hungarian song hummed softly. A melody for oneself in a foreign language. A song-cabin that Tünde Deak wanted to share with Léopoldine Hummel to explore the intimate dimension of language. Can we slip into it like we slip into a fictional character? Who do we become when we speak a different language?
Actress and musician Léopoldine Hummel was born into the theatre and studied at the École de la Comédie de Saint-Étienne. She currently works with Julie Ménard, Marc Lainé and Simon Delattre. She loves to explore literature through music with her singing alter ego Léopoldine HH.
