Between the state of emergency and covid, between the fight against terrorism and the protection of public order, our public freedoms are under attack. For our security, we have been asked to give up some fundamental rights. Was that always justified? Which freedoms have we lost, and for what results? Do we now live under an “authoritarian or surveillance State”?
