Europe is no longer the centre of the world. But our imagination has yet to be decolonised. An ethnocentric vision of universalism endures in many areas. But we can understand the universality of rights, of knowledge and of art based on a human and linguistic plurality.

Presentation

Europe is no longer the centre of the world. But our imagination has yet to be decolonised. An ethnocentric vision of universalism endures in many areas like philosophy, politics, ethics, or the arts. But we can understand the universality of rights, of knowledge and of art based on a human and linguistic plurality; we can make way for a post-colonial approach, without falling into the trap of national and ethnic segregation
