While China builds a new museum every day, has created over 500 Confucius Institutes throughout the world in barely over a decade, and deploys considerable means to glorify the “Chinese dream,” France is trying to find a second wind in its cultural policy. Will China's soft power triumph over the influence of the country of the Enlightenment?
