After the failure of really existing communism and since the advent of the reign of individualism, the idea of community seems like a broken dream, an expectation often filled by identity-oriented jolts, reflexes or withdrawals. Whereas the collapse of collectivism has given way to the empire of "me myself", the sense of "us" has withered. The ideas of sharing, of the common good and community seem to have exploded into innumerable pieces. From what political, legal and aesthetic bases can we invent a new commonness between men?
