Is it possible to put on a musical comedy today ? In what way can its form evolve ? Is it possible to invent a sociological musical comedy ? Or a sociological comedy with music ? Six writers, a composer, nine actor/singers, ten musicians and a director respond to these questions with the staging of their idea of a contemporary, polyphonic tale. The writers are fond of musicals and wanted to get into this particular genre. A television game show, a film without pictures, a fantasy about breeding, a drama in the workplace triggered by a bitten ear, a conservatory that is too conservative - this is the time for short musicals. The six mini-musicals happily deride the defects of our society against a background of rock music, rap, urban sounds, revised classical, jazz and ambient noise. Six short comedies that make a whole and manage to renew the genre with a devilish twist.
