Documentary theatre: artist and spectator, as witnesses, by Laure Adler

Theatre is the place from which we watch. That makes it a space that has to do with the position of the witness. New forms of circulartion are being invented—from a testimony given or performed, to the witness directly speaking on stage—which allow us finally heart what has become inaudible in the real-time flow of information which characterises our world. In light of these questions, Patricia Allio and Milo Rau will discuss documentary theatre.
