Wael Kadoue

Born in Syria in 1981, Wael Kadour is an author and director. Originally trained in the dramatic arts, he has worked on numerous projects in the Middle East and Europe since 2008. He left Syria for Jordan in 2011, before moving to Paris in 2016. In 2021, he received support from the Ibsen Scope Foundation in Norway to write and produce the play Up There. He has written several texts, which have been published in Arabic, English, French, and Italian.
