Nathalie Béasse
A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts and of the Conservatoire d'art dramatique in Angers, Nathalie Béasse also studied performing arts at the Braunschweig University of Arts in Germany. In 1999, she founded her company and began developing work at the crossroads of theatre, dance and the visual arts. Together with a loyal team of actors, dancers and technicians, she has created her own stage language, exploring the blurred line between reality and imagination in shows such as happy child, wonderful world, tout semblait immobile, roses, le bruit des arbres qui tombent, aux éclats… and velvet. Invited to the Venice Biennale in 2017, she presented ceux-qui-vont-contre-le-vent in the Cloître des Carmes at the 75th Festival d'Avignon in 2021. In April 2026, she created monster parade, her first work for young audiences (ages 7 and up). Alongside her stage work, she creates site-specific performances, the "petites météorites", and leads numerous projects with students from drama schools.
