Mario Banushi
Director and performer Mario Banushi grew up in Albania until the age of six, before moving to Greece, where he studied theatre at the Athens Conservatoire. After graduating in 2020, he directed his first short film, PRANVERA, which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2021. His first production, Ragada, was presented in a real house in Athens. Developing a unique artistic language, he has since gained international recognition for his plays Goodbye, Lindita (2023) and Taverna Miresia – Mario, Bella, Anastasia (2023).
