Marco da Silva Ferreira
Marco da Silva Ferreira was born in 1986 in Portugal. A self-taught practicioner of urban dances, he began his professional career in 2008 with André Mesquita, Hofesh Schechter, Victor Hugo Pontes, and Paulo Ribeiro. With Land(e)scape in 2014, he began a multidisciplinary collaboration between visual arts, music, and dance, before creating Bruto, a show for the local community of Torres Vedras, in Portugal. His show Brother has met with international acclaim: “Dances are all about urgency. They’re born of a need in our societies...”
