Emmanuel Eggermont
After graduating from the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine in Angers, Emmanuel Eggermont experimented with choreography in Seoul, then during a research residency at the L’L (Brussels), before working for over fifteen years with Raimund Hoghe. With his precise and minimalist writing, he founded his own company, L’Anthracite, in 2007, and has since developed a choreographic work with a powerful plastic dimension for which the concepts of community and gatherings are an essential foundation. He recently created Πόλις (Polis) (2017) and Aberration (2020). Emmanuel Eggermont is associate artist with the Centre chorégraphique national de Tours.
