Emma Dante
Emma Dante is an actress, playwright, author, and director for the theatre, opera, and cinema. The body is at the heart of her theatre, anchored in our humanity, to unveil the tensions and madness of beings. With her company Sud Costa Occidentale, founded in 1999 in her hometown of Palermo, she has created about twenty shows performed throughout Europe, including Le Sorelle Macaluso and Bestie di scena, performed respectively in 2014 and 2017 at the Festival d'Avignon.
