Branko

Visionary Portuguese DJ Branko is the founder of legendary group Buraka Som Sistema. Born in 2005 in the Buraca neighbourhood of Amadora, on the outskirts of Lisbon, the group developed a unique signature sound: a fusion of kuduro, electronic music, and breakbeat. In the wake of the group’s global success, Branko founded the label Enchufada, producing artists like M.I.A., before launching his solo career. Over the past nine years, he has released four albums blending electronic beats with southern rhythms: Atlas, Nosso, OBG, and Soma.
