Alexander Zeldin
British author and director Alexander Zeldin worked as an assistant to Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Estienne. His plays decipher the real through their hyper-realistic aesthetics. As associate artist with the National Theatre in London and the Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe, he created the Inequalities triptych from 2016 to 2019 (Beyond Caring, LOVE, and Faith, Hope and Charity). His recent works have been more personal in nature, presenting portraits of his loved ones: tackling the loss of his grandmother in A Death in the Family—his first play in French—and the fate of a mother in The Confessions.
