Presentation of the programme for the 80th Festival d'Avignon

A eagerly awaited occasion, the presentation of the Festival d'Avignon's programme takes on an exceptional dimension this year. For its 80th edition, the Festival invites us to look ahead: oriented towards the next eighty years, this edition puts to its invited artists and audiences questions rooted in Jean Vilar's utopia. In a world saturated with certainties, the Festival chooses doubt and curiosity, placing the question at the heart of artistic and democratic endeavour.

Join us on Wednesday 8th April at 4.30pm at La FabricA, the Festival's year-round home of creation, life and making, to discover the programme set to unfold across Avignon and its surroundings in July 2026. For this landmark edition, the presentation will take a wholly new form.
