Once again this summer, just before the trumpets sound in the Cour d’honneur of the palais des Papes, Le Souffle d’Avignon will take place in the gardens of the palais. This cycle of readings highlights contemporary voices in theatre, providing authors a special space to present their texts, often before their publication. These readings in the presence of the authors invite audiences to discover contemporary writing in a historic and symbolic setting: the birthplace of the Festival d’Avignon.
