Presentation

A pale light. he wakes up, arms outstretched. Around him, two people in white coats are stitching up his wrists. He thinks he's like Christ but he's the only one who finds that amusing. That is precisely where the young man with the bloody arms finds himself, just a transitory passenger with a wound he has inflicted upon himself. He cuts himself and they stitch him up again. In the hospital, roaming free, there are murderous meteors: the father and the mother drowned in their opposite poles. She cannot stand he who is flesh of her flesh and who cuts himself, and he, is incapable of doing anything. The doctor: he has his work cut out. The young man is not in synch with the world and all he wants is for someone to pick him up. He wants to be carried, not necessarily from here to there, but to help him stand. One might think he has only ever known failure. Failed to fall properly. Failed in his morbid passage via all the little things that unpick the seam of life, that of others. On his arm, is the name of a woman he never knew, Clémence. In her death, he throws himself around and seems to love doing it. Nothing else, nothing more. The parents wash their hands of the medical case - their child who cuts himself - and the young man enters a green cell. He thought he would meet Hamlet and Sarah Kane. But no. It only smells of cleanness and old bread. He finds a ghost there, the aunt whose name is Clémence, who committed suicide some thirty years ago. She tells him off and calls him a "stupid little fool". He has other encounters there and perhaps he grows, tames those tiny dragons, learns to redirect his monster-like common faculties. Destroy elsewhere why not. You have to pass the time anyway and become somebody. So the room closes up, like the wound.
