Wagner Moura

Wagner Moura is a Brazilian actor, director, and producer of international renown. He first gained worldwide recognition with his Golden Globe nomination for his role as Pablo Escobar in the series Narcos, before directing Marighella, a film on the leader of the armed resistance against Brazil’s military dictatorship. His performance in The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonça Filho earned him the Best Actor Award at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, followed by a Golden Globe in 2026. Alongside his film work, he serves as an ambassador for the International Labour Organization.
