Rasha Omran

Born in Tartus in Syria in 1964, Rasha Omran founded an art and literature Festival she directed for sixteen years as part of her country’s vibrant artistic and intellectual life. As an opponent to the dictatorship, she had to leave in exile for Egypt in 2012. The collection based on her show was published in France in 2021 by Héros-Limite.
