Katerina Andreou & Carte Blanche

Katerina Andreou is a dancer, choreographer, and musician based in France. Born in Athens, she is a graduate of the Law School-University of Athens and the State School of Dance, also in Athens. She also holds a master’s degree in choreographic research from Université Paris 8. As a performer, she has collaborated with various artists such as DD Dorvillier, Anne Lise Le Gac, Lenio Kaklea, Bryan Campbell, Dinis Machado, Emmanuelle Huynh, and Ana Rita Teodoro. In 2016, her solo A kind of Fierce won the choreography prize at the ImPulsTanz Festival. 

Founded in 1989 in Bergen, Norway, Carte Blanche – the Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance creates two to three new productions every year in collaboration with choreographers from all kinds of backgrounds, both rising talents and seasoned veterans. As the Norvegian national company of contemporary dance, it brings together fourteen performers from Norway and all over the world.
