Étienne Minoungou
An actor, director, and playwright based in Burkina Faso and Belgium, he dedicates himself to theatre (foundation of the company Falinga in 2000 and of Récréâtrales in 2002: first Pan-African dramatic writing and creation residencies). As an actor, he has appeared since 2013 throughout the world, performing texts by Dieudonné Niangouna, Aimé Césaire, Sony Labou Tansi, Felwine Sarr, and Edouard Glissant. With his five one-man shows, he has developed an aesthetics of theatre as a space for social conversation.
