Echoing the exhibition devoted to him, thirty artists and friends share their memories of Alain Crombecque.
The content of this page
Alain Crombecque's unique personality has touched many artists, his energy has accompanied them in their creation, and his view of their work has made him an essential interlocutor. The man also left his mark on the history of the two festivals he directed, Automne in Paris (1974-1977, then 1993-2009) and Avignon (1985-1992). In this two-day event, on 6 and 7 July 2024, which accompanies the On ne fait jamais relâche exhibition, a number of close friends, artists, critics, theatre-men and women and admirers will testify to the place that Alain Crombecque occupied and still occupies today.
