It’s just a question of balance

What makes us falter? What makes us lose our balance? What wavers with time? Starting each from their main tool of expression—music for Blade AliMBaye, the body for Ashtar Muallem, the voice for Ludmilla Dabo—this trio formed exceptionally for Vive le sujet ! explores those questions.

Blade AliMBaye is a French-Senegalese rapper, beatboxer, singer, actor, dancer and poet. He’s worked with Thomas Ostermeier (Retour à Reims) and Laëtitia Guédon.

Ashtar Muallem is a multidisciplinary artist: an aerial silk performer and contortionist, she’s also an actress, dancer and writer. She divides her time between France and Palestine.
