Presentation

In 1946 the Cannes Festival was born, in 1947 the Avignon Festival; both put culture at the service of the reinvention of our societies. In 2021, after a year of winter without shows and without cinema, the two festivals are in dialogue. Thierry Frémaux and Olivier Py, together with Fabienne Pascaud, take a look at the state of the two sectors.
