Difference is the sister of curiosity. Once we know of the paths that have been those of Kaori Ito and Olivier Martin-Salvan, desires and appetites begin to appear. Theirs like ours. The energy and love of life we can infer from their training make us think that, in spite of their respective weight and their geographical origin, they will be able to find balance. The fat one and the tiny one, as they call themselves, reveal expose themselves to tell us of their meeting. They play with their physical constraints, with the “monstrosity” of their difference. “What if I was in your body, and you in mine?” Who's never wanted to be someone else, to see if the grass isn't really greener on the other side? So Kaori Ito will see what it feels like to weigh over two hundred and fifty pounds, and Olivier Martin-Salvan will lose quite a bit of weight... Opposition? Confrontation? Nothing could be less certain.
