In 2012, Claude Régy entrusted, for the first time, the entirety of one of his stagings, Mist of God, to a film-maker. For the image, the film director Alexandre Barry has transposed and reinvented the material of the show, taken from Birds by Tarjei Vesaas. He invites us to partake in an intimate and hypnotic experience to, as Claude Régy writes, “Attempt to perceive and have perceived the invisible of a being and the inexpressible of art”. Claude Régy presented Maritime Ode at the Festival d'Avignon in 2009.
