Kornél Mundruczó
Kornél Mundruczó is a Hungarian film and theater director. He has directed 17 short and feature films. Notably, Pleasant Days (2002) was awarded the Silver Leopard in Locarno; White God (2014) that won the Prize Un Certain Regard and had a Spotlight section at the Sundance Film Festival and J La Lune de Jupiter (2017). Parallel to his filmmaking career, Mundruczó has worked in theater and opera and founded his independent theater company, Proton Theater.
