Frédéric Bélier-Garcia
After studying philosophy, Frédéric Bélier-Garcia turned to direction for the theatre and opera. He has notably directed works by contemporary writers such as Gregory Motton, Ivan Viripaev, or Marie NDiaye, directing her first play, Hilda, in 2002 (winner of the Prix du syndicat de la critique). As a screenwriter, he co-wrote with Nicole Garcia her films The Adversary, Charlie Says, A View of Love, and From the Land of the Moon. Since 2020, he has been the director of the Ariètis 2 company.
