Baptiste Amann

After training as an actor at the ERAC (the Cannes school for actors) from 2004 to 2007, Baptiste Amann began developing his own writing process. In 2010, he co-founded the production platform “L’Outil”, creating shows along with several others as part of the i.R.M.A.R. (the Institute for Useless Research). In 2013, he started a great writing and directing project, culminating in Des territoires, which he presented during the 75th edition of the Festival d’Avignon. In 2018, he founded L’Annexe, along with Morgan Hélou, a structure which is now in charge of producing his shows: Grandes Surfaces, Jamais dormir, and Salle des fêtes. From 2017 to 2020, he took part in the European exchange project “Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe beyond borders?”
