Alessandro Serra
Alessandra Serra founded in 1999 the company Teatropersona, with which he creates his own shows, from the dramaturgy to the sets, from the costumes to the lights. Inspired as much by his practice of martial arts as by his in-depth study of classical texts and of the work of Jerzy Grotowski, his work has met with international recognition and received many awards—such as the prestigious Ubu Award, which he received in 2017 for Macbettu, adapted from Shakespeare.
