Villa Créative – Avignon Université

The Villa Créative will be, in the heart of Avignon - from its inauguration on 26 and 27 May 2025: the totem of excellence in research and innovation dedicated to those involved in culture and the creative industries. Supported by Avignon Université, as part of a composite partnership network, the Villa Créative brings together the academic, artistic and entrepreneurial worlds to create a hybrid space for trans-disciplinary experimentation and creation, where people can meet, anchored in the region and with an international reach.

All year round, Villa Créative is committed to forging links between the arts, sciences and society. It is at the crossroads of knowledge, technology, audiences and the issues of social transition and protecting the planet. Open to the community, Villa Créative aims to be a ‘University outside the University’, by disseminating knowledge and demonstrating the creative process in the arts and the scientific process in research.
