5th Meeting for the employment of people with disabilities in the cultural sector

On 4 March 2026, la FabricA du Festival d’Avignon will host the 5th meeting for the employment of people with disabilities in the cultural sector.  

Are you disabled and looking for a job in the cultural sector? This event is an opportunity to find out about the support and assistance available and to meet companies in the cultural sector to discuss recruitment opportunities.

Morning 

9:30am – 9:45am : Opening 

9:45am – 10:20am: What are the prospects for professionals (technicians and artists) with disabilities? 

In the presence of the CNCA (National Centre for Adapted Creation), the DGCA (Directorate-General for Artistic Creation), the Agefiph (Association for the Management of Funds for the Professional Integration of People with Disabilities), Audiens and the CGT Spectacle. 

10:20am – 10:50am : Training to diversify skills. 

In the presence of Afdas (Training Insurance for Performing Arts), La Bulle Bleue Montpellier and L’Eveilleur Scop. 

10:50am – 11:10am : How to adapt a training programme?  

In the presence of IMCA, France Travail, CAP EMPLOI and URAPEDA   

How to successfully integrate and remain in employment? 

11:10am – 11:25am: Intervention by CAP EMPLOI and the Théâtre du Balcon 

11:25am – 11:45am : Contribution from FIPHFP-CULTURE (Fund for the Integration of Disabled People into the Civil Service) and the Opéra Grand Avignon  

11:45am – 12am : How does the fear of unemployment lead to hiding one's disability?

12am – 12:45am : Accessibility, a job opportunity (FALC en scène, Résidence de la Cie ZigZag au Festival d’Avignon)​ 

 

Afternoon 

2pm – 5pm : JOB DATING with the recruitment services of the Festival d'Avignon: audience reception, ticketing, technical and administration.   

The event will be fully accessible thanks to French Sign Language (LSF) interpretation and subtitling, with the support of Urapeda Sud and Acceo-Tadeo.
