When we hear the word family, we always think of ours first. But since no two families are really alike, what does it mean, then, to be a family?
The content of this page
Five people are connected by a rope. Is this link that of family, friendship, or another form of community? Hard to say. But the balance shifts with the arrival of a sixth person: “What happens to me when another happens?”
Director Muriel Imbach offers a joyful and philosophical reflection on family, inviting us to rethink its definition. What’s an extended family, a chosen family? Where does it begin? What brings us together? So many questions that remind us that “to be together as a family” means first and foremost to welcome the other, to accept them, and to adopt them, beyond blood ties.
가족이라는 단어를 언급할 때, 우리는 먼저 자신의 가족을 떠올린다. 하지만 그 어떤 가족도 똑같은 모습이 아닌데, 가족이 된다는 것은 과연 무엇을 의미할까?
