With les Scènes d’Avignon

Once again this summer, just before the trumpets sound in the Cour d’honneur of the Palais des Papes, Le Souffle d’Avignon will take place in the gardens of the Palais. This cycle of readings highlights voices in contemporary theatre, providing authors a special space to present their texts, often before their publication. These readings in the presence of the authors invite audiences to discover current writings in a historic and symbolic setting, the birthplace of the Festival d’Avignon.
