After exchanging letters between Paris and Berlin, Johana Malédon and Felicia Riegel meet on stage. This encounter transforms what they had imagined from afar.
Between Paris and Berlin, choreographer Johana Malédon and scenographer Felicia Riegel exchange letters. From a distance, each builds her own world, imagining gestures, spaces and ways of acting. On stage, their imaginaries meet and collide. Using concrete blocks that they move, stack and break apart, they gradually shape a shared space. Bodies adapt to matter, while matter resists intention. Through effort, repetition and transformation, dear explores what happens when two artistic practices attempt to work together without ever fully converging, seeking, in both friction and connection, the possibility of a relationship.
