Following the implementation of procedures enabling state-recognized artistic creation organizations to carry out carbon assessments with the support of their representative associations, the General Directorate for Artistic Creation (DGCA) conducted a study combining data from these carbon assessments with sectoral observation data. This conference will present the study’s findings and offer the opportunity to engage with the DGCA officers who led the project, as well as the study’s consultants.
The event will also provide a platform to share the work and recommendations of the ecological transition working group of the National Council for Performing Arts Professions (CNPS), which explored the impact of the ecological transition on live performance activities. Key topics include the future of cultural mobility, digital trajectories, training, working conditions, and the evolution of economic models. These findings are the result of broad consultation with social partners and a wide range of professionals from the sector.
