If there’s nothing exceptional, what do we have to share? If there’s no virtuosity, no head-spinning, no beautiful style, no big words, what is dance made of, and what are we talking about?
Balkis Moutashar, choreographer and dancer, invites Lucie Rico, author, to a duo which mixes words and movements. A duo made of subtle gestures, tiny modulations, and light arrangements, in search of the special flavour of a certain form of simplicity, and of what’s at stake below the extraordinary, the prodigious, the remarkable, the superior.
