Presentation

Right up against the Cour d'honneur du Palais des, just before the trumpets sound, the "Souffle d'Avignon" takes over the Benoît XII cloister, where living authors will perform their texts, many of them previously unpublished. In this historic and symbolic setting, the cradle of the Festival, this 4th edition of the Souffle affirms the unifying character of this event initiated by Les Scènes d'Avignon.

Okinum

Inspired by the recurring dream of a giant beaver, Okinum is an intimate reflection on the notion of inner dams, an ode to the power of dreams and intuition. Performed by Émilie Monnet and Jackie Gallant, Okinum weaves a unique dramaturgy, circular and spellbinding, in which the spoken word is liberated, rediscovering the memory of ancestors and reconciling with the facets of a multiple identity.
