Twelve Hours for authors is a unique event to explore contemporary dramatic writing.

Presentation

Come discover the richness and diversity of contemporary texts through readings, screenings, panels, and other unique activities. From midday to midnight, come see the vivid imagination of those authors unfold throughout the Maison Jean Vilar, taking on many forms to adapt to the pace of festivalgoers. Readings, panels, and original activities follow each other throughout the day, with an authors’ dinner and a DJ set to close out this unique event.

And from midday to midnight:

  • “Dramatic naps”: headsets available to listen to France Culture radio creations

  • “Dressing Room”: An immersive installation by Joris Mathieu and Nicolas Boudier, Théâtre Nouvelle Génération- CDN de Lyon

  • Screenings: “Self-portraits” by authors and TOTEM(S) – Théâtre Opéra Texte et Ecriture Musicale pour le Spectacle, la Chartreuse- Centre national des écritures du spectacle.
