The power of women. Not to discuss it but to shine a light on it, to keep it alive… I don’t know what a struggle is. Do we have the choice not to fight?

Presentation

We’re not here to discuss the power of women, but to shine a light on it. I don’t know what a struggle is. Do we have the choice not to fight? My krumping body is political, or so I’m told. I’m not so sure. What about yours? We’re more than that, more than activists. I need to ask you what our voice is, how far it carries. To confront myself to you, live through my process, ours, that of women. What do you think? Tell me, so I’ll feed on your words. With dance, a posture, a word, a story, a piece of music, told by one then the other, at the same time… then nothing, just us.

Israeli artist Ruth Rosenthal created the duo Winter Family with Xavier Klaine. Their performances and albums have met with international acclaim, and they’ve performed their music all over the world.
