I have very few memories anyway

What's a drama school? How does one become an actor? And above all: how can it change one's life? I have very few memories anyway takes the form of a collection of testimonies to recall the exceptional experience, both in terms of its brevity (1987-1989) and of its intensity, of the young aspiring actors and directors who studied at the school founded by Antoine Vitez at the Théâtre national de Chaillot. To commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of his passing, Éric Louis, who once took part in this now mythical adventure, decided to bring together the recollections of former students. This work of remembrance gave rise to a polyphonic show, embodied onstage by young student-actors who are now going through the same experience. They give the words of their forebears an echo in which can be heard at once the relevance of Antoine Vitez's teachings and the posterity of his thought. A story of transmission, encounters, and self-discovery—but first and foremost of theatre.
